Local Ordinances and Laws In Oklahoma, some individual municipalities license massage therapy. Below are the links to the texts of several of Oklahoma's municipal ordinances. Some were not available online, and we will endeavor to get them in an online format, as soon as possible. If you have an electronic copy of your city's massage law, please email it to amtaok@yahoo.com and we will add it to this page. Some of the laws are rather outdated, but they are still law. Some communities still list massage in "Adult Business", (shameful but true). The City of Lawton is one such municipality, and , in those cases, the pertinent information is highlighted. Regardless, they are the law, and need to be adhered to, until a more responsible law can replace them. Hopefully, you can see why we need one law, instead of the patchwork of laws that Oklahoma is currently. Just click on the button with the name of the city ordinance/code that you want to review for a web page, or click the link to the PDF file below to download the PDF. If the name of the city is not on the site, it is not available here yet, please be patient. New Oklahoma City Law! (rough draft)
